We will be experiencing an extended period of very hot temperatures and high humidity in Central Ky. in the next week or so. We would like to remind folks to take extra precautions in extreme heat and humidity because evaporation is minimal, and your body will need to work harder in an attempt to keep a normal temperature.

Please keep an eye on your neighbors especially the most vulnerable such as the elderly and young children. Also the Stamping Ground family has residents that work outside all day and folks that do not have air conditioning.

City Hall is closed this week. Our city clerk needs a vacation from work every now and then 😉 but if there is a non emergency heat related concern please do not hesitate to call the Stamping Ground Fire Department at 502-535-7714 or Mayor Jones at 859-230-8254.

Always dial 911 in an emergency.

Don’t forget about your pets! They will need fresh water and shelter from the heat and sun.

Here’s Stamping Ground’s newest business… Ray’s Precision Calibration. They had their ribbon cutting and grand opening last week!

We have more grand openings coming to Stamping Ground soon!!!
